Offered here is our reference Conrad Johnson CT-5 Linestage Preamplifier in near mint condition. I can’t see a single mark on this baby but the metal Conrad Johnson remote shows a little sign of use (no missing letters or anything ugly).

This is a beautiful sounding unit, it has that inner-glow that CJ are famous for. Call it inner-glow or fleshed out images or meat on bones or whatever you want, but you’ll know what I mean the moment you hear it.

I would have no hesitation pairing the Conrad Johnson CT-5 with another tube amp or a good solid state amp but I wouldn’t use it with something that’s already on the warm side.

I love the way this thing throws a big wide-open soundstage and the palpability it brings to vocalists. It really is a knockout preamp, and it should be for it’s $7500 MSRP.
