First Watt J2 For Sale [SOLD]

I brought the First Watt J2 in to work as a ‘summer amp’ on my Altec Valencia 846b. Remarkably, there isn’t a wide margin in terms of performance between the First Watt J2 amp and my Allnic Audio A6000 300b monoblocks. Sure, the Allnic is ‘different’, better maybe, but the differences are surprisingly small given the enormous price differential.

The First Watt J2 is rated at 25 watts per channel, and has a two-stage JFET circuit that operates in Class A mode.

The First Watt J2 works in balanced or single-ended configuration, giving it an advantage over others in the First Watt range which are mostly single-ended.
